NVIDIA announced the DGX Spark and DGX Station supercomputers

At the GTC conference, NVIDIA unveiled two new artificial intelligence (AI) supercomputers, the DGX Spark and DGX Station. These devices promise to increase computational power and simplify the handling of state-of-the-art AI models.

DGX Spark: the smallest supercomputer

DGX Spark, which was previously unveiled at CES 2025 under the codename Project Digits, is claimed to be the world’s smallest AI supercomputer. The device costs $3,000 and features a GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip chip that has been scaled down to fit into an enclosure comparable in size to the previous generation Mac mini. This chip is capable of processing up to 1,000 trillion operations per second, making the DGX Spark ideal for training and fine-tuning AI models.

DGX Station: the supercomputer for professionals

For researchers and data scientists who need more computing power, NVIDIA has come up with the DGX Station. This device features the GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra chip, which is capable of delivering 20 petaflops of performance and 784GB of single system memory. No word yet on the price of the DGX Station, but NVIDIA has said that the system will go on sale later this year. Meanwhile, the devices will be assembled by a variety of partners, including ASUS, BOXX, Dell, HP, Lambda and Supermicro.

When to expect new products?

DGX Spark is already available for pre-order, and DGX Station is expected to be released in 2025. These devices will open up new opportunities for developers and researchers working with the most complex AI models and provide unprecedented performance for future projects.
