Minisforum has announced a mini-PC powered by Ethernet cable – S100

Minisforum has introduced the new S100 computer, which is characterized by its miniaturized size. The device can be compared in size to a smartphone or power bank. However, unlike similar models, the S100 doesn’t have a built-in battery, but it doesn’t require an outlet to power it.
The S100 does not require a power outlet.
The dimensions of the Minisforum S100 are 152x58x19.5mm. Inside is a quad-core Intel N100 processor with a TDP of 6W (in Turbo mode — up to 9W) and an active fan for cooling. The noise level in normal mode is 24 dB, and at full load — up to 43 dB. The RAM capacity is 8GB (LPDDR5-4800) and the persistent memory is — 256GB (UFS 2.1).

The computer also features an AX200/201 network card with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support, as well as several wired interfaces: one HDMI, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with image output and 65W fast charging, and one 2.5Gbps Ethernet with PoE support. The latter feature allows the mini-PC to run from power via an Ethernet cable.
The Minisforum S100, which runs on Windows 11 Home, is priced at $189 (17 350 rubles).
