Gmktec’s NucBox G3 Pro mini PC launches worldwide
After its recent debut in China, Gmktec has officially launched the NucBox G3 Pro mini PC on the global stage. This compact system targets users seeking an affordable, energy-efficient PC for everyday tasks, media consumption, and even as a home server.
At its heart is a 10th-generation Intel Core i3-10110U processor featuring two cores and four threads. The chip runs at a base clock of 2.1GHz but can boost up to 4.1GHz with Turbo Boost. Users can choose from three thermal profiles: a quiet 8W mode, balanced 10W mode, and a performance-oriented 15W mode. Intel’s integrated UHD Graphics handles visuals, supporting dual 4K displays through two HDMI ports.
The NucBox G3 Pro comes in several configurations. There’s a barebone variant without RAM or storage for those who want to customize. Ready-to-go models include one with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, and another with 16GB of RAM paired with a 512GB SSD. Internally, it offers two SO-DIMM DDR4 slots supporting up to 64GB of memory, plus two M.2 slots for storage expansion. One M.2 slot supports PCIe 3.0 x4 drives up to 8TB, while the other accommodates SATA 3.0 drives up to 1TB.

On the connectivity front, the NucBox G3 Pro is equipped with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 2.5G Ethernet port powered by an Intel i226 controller. The front panel houses two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and a power button, while the rear offers an additional two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two HDMI 1.4 outputs, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a power input.
Cooling is managed by a single fan and a copper heat pipe, ensuring stable operating temperatures. The system supports simultaneous output to two 4K displays at up to 24Hz. Its compact chassis measures 114 × 106 × 44 mm and weighs around 280 grams.
The NucBox G3 Pro supports VESA mounting and, according to Gmktec, the fan noise doesn’t exceed 38 decibels. It’s compatible with Windows 11 Pro as well as popular Linux distributions.
Pricing starts at $170 for the barebone model. The 8GB RAM/256GB SSD version is $240, while the fully loaded 16GB RAM/512GB SSD option goes for $300.
