Computex 2025: ASUS unveils ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 notebooks

Assus showed off a slew of new PCs at Computex 2025, but the updated ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 gaming laptops got special attention. These models are some of the most powerful in the brand’s lineup – see below for all the key details.
New displays and premium chassis
As the names suggest, the Zephyrus G16 gets a larger 16-inch screen, while the G14 gets a compact 14-inch screen. Both laptops feature displays with 3K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits of brightness, and Dolby Vision support. The chassis is CNC-machined from solid aluminum, giving the devices a premium look and durability.

Flagship-level performance
The ROG Zephyrus G14 has the latest AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chip inside with an integrated AMD XDNA NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS. The 12-core processor is paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The laptop can also be equipped with up to 64GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage.
ROG Zephyrus G16, on the other hand, offers a screen with a refresh rate of up to 240Hz and an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, complemented by an Nvidia RTX 5070 graphics card. It also boasts a six-speaker system that delivers high-quality sound.
Prices and Availability
The two models will be available in two colors – Eclipse Gray and Platinum White. The ROG Zephyrus G14 will have a starting price of $1,800, while the G16 will cost from $2,150. The base configurations will go on sale on June 25, 2025, while the higher-end versions are already available for order.
