Computex 2025: ASUS unveils ProArt A16 with 4K OLED screen and Ryzen AI 9

At Computex 2025, ASUS announced updates to two notebook lines at once – the ProArt creative series and Chromebooks. The main new product is the ASUS ProArt A16 laptop with Ryzen AI 9 HX processor, RTX 5070 graphics card and a large 16-inch 4K OLED display. The device is focused on generative AI and is part of the Copilot+ PC category.

SUS ProArt A16 is an AI-centric notebook with a Ryzen AI 9 HX processor and RTX 50X graphics card.

ProArt A16 gets a black aluminum body with discreet hinges and a fingerprint-resistant coating. The case is about 13mm thick, and inside are Windows-compliant components for AI: an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor and NVIDIA’s RTX 5070 notebook graphics card. In addition to the standard Copilot+ features, ASUS includes proprietary local apps – StoryCube and MuseTree – to generate content right on the device.

ASUS Chromebooks get AI and new configurations

Besides the ProArt, ASUS has refreshed its Chromebook lineup, including Google Gemini-enabled models. The ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34 features a 14-inch full-tilt screen, a 1080p webcam, and an Intel Core i5 chip. RAM capacity is up to 8GB of LPDDR5. This allows the laptop to run AI functions locally and gets priority access to the Gemini Extended Edition.
