Epic Games’ chief creative officer has left the company

Donald Mustard, Epic Games’ chief creative officer and one of the driving forces behind its successful Fortnite game, has announced his departure from the company. Mustard, who was also creative director of the Infinity Blade and Shadow Complex series of games, announced the news on his social media pages on Friday.

Mustard’s departure was announced on Friday.

The designer said the Fortnite team is «in the best hands» and working on «huge, amazing things».

«After an incredible adventure, I am stepping down as Epic’s chief creative officer this month», — Mustard wrote. «I’ve spent nearly 25 years in the games industry working with talented people and am proud of what we’ve accomplished together»”
