Xiaomi SU7 L: Longer version of the sedan spotted on tests

A new variant of the electric sedan Xiaomi SU7 indexed L has been spotted in China. According to Car News China, it’s a longer version of the model that could hit the market in 2026.
What’s known about the Xiaomi SU7 L
Compared to the regular SU7 (4997 mm), the “long” version should grow to about 5.2 meters. The wheelbase will increase by 80-150 mm from the current three meters. This will change the positioning of the model: instead of a sports sedan, the SU7 L will be presented as a representative electric car with an emphasis on space and comfort in the rear row.

Comfort for second row passengers
- wider and more comfortable seats,
- detached multimedia screens,
- mini-fridge,
- improved finish materials.
The SU7 L will thus be a direct competitor in the premium segment and will be aimed at those who prefer to ride with a driver.

Price and competitors
The extended version is expected to cost at least 400,000 yuan (about 4.5 million rubles). For comparison:
- The standard Xiaomi SU7 in China costs from 215,900 yuan (2.4 million rubles),
- The BYD Han L flagship sedan is available from 279,800 yuan (3.1 million rubles).
The SU7 L will thus be noticeably more expensive than competitors in its class.
