Volvo has disabled software for Russian car owners

Volvo has disconnected Russian users from its software. Owners of the brand only found out about it when it got cold, they couldn’t open the app and turn on the car’s remote heater.

Business FM’s Business FM source revealed that Volvo officially stopped software support back on September 25, 2023 due to sanctions, but car owners are only now starting to face the problem.

Many users, however, have noted that the Volvo On Call app still works. It allows you to open the car from a long distance, start the engine and let the car warm up.
