There’s also the Toyota EPU load-bearing pickup truck. It’s smaller (5070×1910×1710 mm with a wheelbase of 3350 mm) and seats five people. The battery in this electric pickup is located at the bottom, which provides excellent stability and good handling.
The company has also prepared a prototype of a moon buggy that can traverse 50-centimeter-high boulders, drive up a 25° hill, accommodate two people and have each wheel powered by its own motor.
An electric moped, an electric wheelchair and a steering wheel for the car with gas pedal and brake knobs right on the steering wheel will also be unveiled – great for people who can’t use pedals for one reason or another.
