TCL introduced a 47.5-inch automotive curved display

TCL offers something different — a continuous 47.5-inch display under a 1.4-meter-wide curved glass that can extend from one side of the car to the other. The entire display area has a built-in touch sensor and responds to multiple inputs, making it possible to control both the driver and passenger simultaneously. The The curved display offers an integrated dashboard with no borders and allows the passenger to control the infotainment system. The mini-LED matrix with 3,000 local dimming zones has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and native 8K resolution, making it the highest-resolution screen in the automotive industry. The Curved Display Rather than going vertical and coming up with a spinning design, TCL took a simple but effective approach. Using the full width of the dashboard makes a lot of sense, and while Mercedes’ attempt is impressive because of the large screen size, TCL’s idea is much more stylish and easy to use. The TCL product will significantly reduce costs for automakers by having a large screen and yet a single, easy-to-install assembly. The only thing perhaps missing here is redundancy. This is always a concern when automakers replace dashboards with integrated screens, as the latter have a tendency to fail. The TCL product will reduce the cost of a large screen.
