The design of the HWA Evo is the same as the original, but adds more aggressive elements such as a wide dodger, enlarged wheel arches and a massive anti-wing. The exterior will also feature new headlights, a blacked-out grille and six-spoke wheels.
Although specifications have not yet been announced, it is known that HWA will use the Mercedes-Benz W201 as base models. The cars will probably undergo suspension modifications and body reinforcements, but specific details regarding the powertrain are not yet available. The developers promise the introduction of advanced technologies.
HWA, known primarily for their work with Mercedes-Benz race cars, has previously been involved in preparing sports cars for competition in the GT2 and GT3 series. One of the famous projects they have been involved in is the famous CLK GTR.
Mercedes-Benz produced the Evo and Evo II sedans based on the 190E in the early 1990s. The Evolution II was limited to just 502 units and is now considered a true collector’s rarity.
