The Porsche Panamera has revealed a new driving concept
By ForGeeks The driving concept in the new Porsche Panamera will be fully in line with the Porsche Driver Experience, first introduced in the Taycan, with special emphasis on the interior, which will be characterized by a sporty atmosphere and particularly high quality.
The main feature of the Porsche Driver Experience is the positioning of the main controls around the steering wheel, providing quick and intuitive access for the driver. On the steering wheel, there is a switch to view the available options for the combined instrumentation and a lever for selecting the driving mode. The shift lever is also conveniently located close by, allowing the climate control panel to be placed on the center console. This panel is a combination of tactile and touch surfaces, providing both an intuitive and aesthetically pleasing solution.
The center control panel also features new ribless and electrically adjustable air vents, as well as a storage compartment for small items. The driver’s axis is emphasized by a freestanding 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, giving a variety of configurations depending on the equipment and view chosen. And, of course, the optional projection display can be controlled directly from the sport steering wheel.
