The new SKM van from AvtoVAZ is shown for the first time on photo

AvtoVAZ has started road tests of an all-metal van under the new SKM brand. The first images of the vehicle were published by Platesmania – the car was spotted on the territory of the company in Togliatti.
The van was caught in the frame at the barrier at one of AvtoVAZ’s facilities. The car has a registration number of the Samara region. The exterior of the tested car fully repeats the original SRM model – there are no differences in the design of the body. All nameplates and trademarks on the body were taped.
As Rossiyskaya Gazeta previously reported, Vaz’s SKM lineup is based on Chinese SRM minivans and vans. However, the final version of the models may be adapted or deeply reworked to meet the needs of the Russian market – AvtoVAZ doesn’t rule out re-engineering.
Official start of sales of SKM brand models is expected in the fall of 2025. It will be the first batch of commercial vehicles under AvtoVAZ’s new sub-brand, designed for small businesses and the corporate sector.
