Wey Mocha crossover will officially enter the Russian car market

A new Wey 05 crossover from China’s Great Wall Motor will arrive in Russia in 2024. This model will be the first in the Wey brand’s lineup available on the Russian market, as well as the company’s first hybrid vehicle in Russia.

In international markets, this crossover is also known as Wey Coffee 01, Wey 05 and Wey Mocha. As it became known in November, the model has already received Vehicle Type Approval (VTA), which allows it to start sales in Russia.
The Wey Coffee 01 is also known as Wey Coffee 05 and Wey Mocha.
The hybrid crossover is equipped with a gasoline engine and two electric motors, with a total output of 295 horsepower. From 0 to 100 km/h the car is able to accelerate in 5 seconds, and the average fuel consumption is 7.7 liters per 100 kilometers. The claimed range is 864 kilometers. The interior of the Wey 05 features a projection display and an electronic instrument cluster. The climate system is controlled via a touchscreen display with haptic feedback.
The Wey Mocha is scheduled to go on sale in early 2024.
