KamAZ Vega with Russian body and Chinese components goes on sale

The Vega features LED headlights of original design, which are manufactured in Russia. The body of the bus is made by SimAZ of Ulyanovsk. However, the units – 6-speed manual transmission and drive axle – are made in China. The Cummins engine with a capacity of 3.8 liters and 154 hp is the same as in the truck “Compass-9”.
The cost of one KamAZ-4280, according to the state procurement website, is 10 million rubles.
