Don’t expect to be able to spend any time playing Cuphead when you stop to charge, as the new Tesla no longer supports Steam games.

Two years ago, it was announced that the Tesla Model S and X would get Steam support, allowing games like Cuphead and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to be played on the cars’ infotainment systems. But for some unknown reason Tesla changed its mind, and today it’s been revealed that the feature will be removed entirely.
Steam support will be removed.
What Tesla said to new electric car owners:
.
Tesla is updating the gaming computer in the Model X, and your car is no longer capable of playing Steam games. All other entertainment and app features are unaffected.
.
We doubt that the ability to play in Steam is a deciding factor for those who are just about to buy a Tesla car. But it’s a little depressing to see the loss of the feature in cars where it was already there and being used. What do you think the reasons are? Traffic safety, weaker equipment, saving money, expired contracts, or something else?”
Anything else?
