Haval and Tank will be renamed in Russia

Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor has announced the rebranding of its brands in the Russian market. All of the company’s brands will now have the prefix GWM: GWM Haval, GWM Tank, GWM Ora and GWM Wey.
Changes in legal entity
The official distributor of the brands in Russia – Havale Motor Rus LLC – also changes its name to Great Wall Motor Rus LLC. This decision synchronizes the corporate identity of the brands and the legal representative of the company on the Russian market.
New Chinese brand in 2026
It was previously reported that a new Chinese automaker – iCaur – will appear in Russia in 2026. Its model lineup will include electric crossovers (BEV) and plug-in hybrids (REEV).
In China, iCaur cars are sold under the name iCar, and the brand itself is owned by Chery. Additional details about future Russian models have not been disclosed yet.
