Fiat has launched Topolino electric cars in honor of Disney’s centennial anniversary
By ForGeeks This year, Fiat has paid tribute to Disney’s 100th anniversary by creating five Mickey Mouse-inspired Topolino. They will be displayed on the roof of the famous Fiat Lingotto factory, which also celebrates its centenary in 2023.

“The stories of FIAT and Disney are inextricably linked as both Disney and Lingotto celebrate their 100th anniversaries and the two Topolinos – the Disney symbol and the very first Fiat 500 – have inspired art, street art and fashion for decades,” he said. Fiat CEO Olivier Francois said. “We have much more in common than just a name: DNA, authenticity and the importance of bringing simplicity, warmth and joy to people. The value of enabling people to see the world and the future with a smile and optimism, is a way to connect with a younger audience.”

Livery for four of the electric cars was created by Fiat Centro Stile designers, while the fifth was designed by Disney artist Giorgio Cavazzano and dedicated to Mickey Mouse himself. The historical version draws inspiration from Disney’s first short film, “Steamboat Willie.”

The Modern version is based on Mickey Mouse’s initials, the Street version features graffiti-style artwork as an homage to Disney’s iconic character, and the Abstract version showcases bright and abstract graphics.
The unique Fiat Topolino electric cars were unveiled at the Casa 500 exhibition and a photo shoot was held on the roof of the Lingotto factory.
