Dreame enters the electric vehicle market

Dreame, the company known for its vacuum cleaners, cordless cleaning systems, smart mops, hair dryers and robotic lawnmowers, has officially announced its entry into the automotive industry. What’s more, its first vehicle will be an all-electric supercar that the company says will rival the Bugatti Veyron.
Dreame’s first vehicle is scheduled for release in 2027. It will have electric motors of its own design.
This move looks particularly interesting given that the first rumors last year spoke of plans for an EREV (range-extender hybrid), which was to enter the European market as well.

Dreame notes that it has been preparing to enter the auto industry since as early as 2013 and has assembled a team of thousands of experts to work on the project.
The company expects to differentiate itself by creating an intelligent ecosystem, something not usually found in traditional luxury cars. The Dreame supercar will integrate with smart home and mobile devices.
