The Russian Energy Ministry said that gasoline production volumes will be restored in the coming days. This is due to the completion of unplanned repairs at oil refineries. The ministry also noted that oil companies are introducing reserve refining capacity and increasing production.

The ministry said that gasoline production will be restored in the next few days.

Additional volumes of fuel, freed up by the temporary export ban, are sent on a priority basis to exchange trading and the retail market.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service is considering increasing the minimum standard for gasoline sales on the exchange from 15% to 17%. The agency hopes that this will increase the transparency of pricing and help curb unreasonable price increases.
