Subaru Forester car noticeably cheaper in Russia

The legendary Subaru Forester SUV, which used to be officially supplied to Russia but is now imported under the parallel import scheme, has fallen in price over the past six months.
Autonovosti Dnevnya reports that prices for these cars now start at 4.49 million rubles, while in June these crossovers were sold for at least 4.7 million rubles.
Some new 2023 cars are available from dealers in various Russian cities, including Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, Chelyabinsk, Volgograd and Yekaterinburg. The most affordable version with a price of 4.49 million rubles is offered in Voronezh (Elegance ES) and is equipped with a 150-horsepower 2-liter engine, variator, all-wheel drive, ERA-GLONASS system, all-round vision camera, light and rain sensors, as well as support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Sport and Premium ES variants start at 5.85 million rubles and feature richer equipment and a 185-horsepower 2.5-liter engine.
