Yandex Cloud now has a service for working with video

The cloud service has now launched a separate service for storing, processing and streaming video. This service is currently in the technical testing phase, so it’s available for free. But it’s available to a limited number of users on request.
Users will now be able to complement their products and services with video. For example, it will now be possible to attach video reviews to products, add some educational content, or host an online broadcast/meeting. The latter, by the way, promises support for hundreds of thousands of viewers.
This will help attract new audiences, as well as track stats in even more detail. Companies will be able to track metrics and visualize this data with Yandex DataLens. Yandex Cloud also supports all available video formats, and adjusts video quality based on the viewer’s internet speed. And like some other video services, you’ll have access to automatic translation and automatic subtitles.
The service is built on Yandex’s video platform, which is used in the Marketplace for short videos and on Kinopoisk for online TV channels and sporting event broadcasts.
