A new version of Ventoy has been released: support for FreeBSD 14.0 and other improvements
By ForGeeks A new version of Ventoy, an application designed for writing bootable USB keys, has been released. Update 1.0.97 includes several significant changes. First of all, support for the new FreeBSD 14.0 operating system has been added. Now users of this operating system will be able to use the convenient Ventoy utility to create bootable drives.
In addition, the developers have fixed a bug with the Proxmox virtualization system. Previously, when trying to boot from a USB drive created with Ventoy, there were some incorrect issues. But after the update, this problem has been successfully fixed, and Proxmox users can now boot from prepared drives.
Another fix concerns the latest version of the Linux kernel. Previously, VTOY_LINUX_REMOUNT was not activated in the new OS. However, now the developers have managed to get rid of this bug and guarantee full support for the new Linux kernel.

A final issue with the VentoyPlugson subroutine has been resolved. Previously, there were difficulties if the number of theme files exceeded 10. Now this limitation has been removed, and users can enjoy the large number of themes provided in Ventoy.
