In iOS 18.2, you can track Safari downloads right on the lock screen

In iOS 18.2, Live Activities support for Safari is now available, allowing iPhone users to quickly track file downloads on the lock screen and Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro models and newer.
Although this update could be considered minor, it adds a useful feature that makes it easier to monitor downloads. iOS 18.2 is currently in beta, with an official release scheduled for December, according to Apple.
