Samsung Galaxy S25 has received the eighth beta version of One UI 8

Samsung continues to test the Android 16-based One UI 8 shell for the Galaxy S25 series. Despite plans to release the stable firmware in September, the company has already rolled out the eighth beta version.
What’s new in the ZYI3 update
The firmware, numbered ZYI3, weighs in at over 600MB and fixes all known bugs, including an issue with the clock on the lock screen slowing down when it’s turned on and off. The update is already available in India, South Korea, Germany and the UK.
Users who installed the previous build can download the new one via the Settings → Software Update → Download and Install menu.

Stable One UI 8 release date
Samsung has previously released five or six betas each before a stable build, but the Galaxy S25 has already gotten eight. The seventh beta was released in late August, and the eighth — just ten days later. This points to the need for additional optimization.
The One UI 8 stable release for the Galaxy S25 is scheduled for September 18, 2025, according to leaks. The update for the Galaxy S24 lineup is due a week later — September 25. However, the dates are subject to change: the company often pushes back the schedule if critical bugs pop up at the last minute.
