NVIDIA has released a stable version of a new application that integrates GeForce Experience and Control Panel

NVIDIA has officially unveiled a stable version of its new application that replaces GeForce Experience and combines it with the features of the NVIDIA Control Panel. The program was previously in beta status and was limited to gathering feedback from users.

What’s new in the NVIDIA App?

The new NVIDIA App is an alternative to the aging GeForce Experience, which was rarely updated and the requirement to create an NVIDIA account scared some gamers away. The app will now replace GeForce Experience, but for now in an optional mode, and it will still be possible to skip installing it. This will be useful for users who don’t need the app’s extra features.

NVIDIA App has a number of advantages:

  • Automatic driver updates: now the program itself will notify and install new drivers.
  • Integration of Control Panel features: NVIDIA has no plans to completely abandon the Control Panel all at once, and users will be able to use the two applications in parallel while the Control Panel features are gradually migrated to the new application.

NVIDIA’s plans and future updates

NVIDIA emphasizes that a migration to a new application is recommended. It also comes ahead of the release of the GeForce RTX 50, NVIDIA’s next generation of gaming GPUs, which may include additional hidden features compatible with the new app.
