Microsoft has released a test build of Windows 11 with noise-canceling features

Microsoft has released a test build of Windows 11 Canary with a new noise reduction feature. The feature uses artificial intelligence models to filter out background noise, echo, and reverb in real time. Voice Clarity can enhance Zoom or Teams meetings, making them less unbearable due to background noise and echo. Computer games can also use this feature for voice chat, where it will suppress unwanted background noise. It’s worth noting that the Voice Clarity sound enhancement feature previously only worked on Surface family devices. Now it will be available on all computers, including those running on ARM processors.

Reminder, Windows 11 includes widgets, a revamped Microsoft Store and support for Android apps. Gaming is an important element of Windows 11, with improvements to DirectX 12 Ultimate and support for Auto HDR. Windows 11 offers enhanced capabilities for multi-monitor configurations and «smart» screen refresh rate adjustments. The system contains many subtle changes and innovations, including the absence of tablet mode and support for the Wi-Fi 6E standard. The Windows Insider pre-testing program is available to evaluate Windows 11 functionality.
