Main fixes in the second beta of Android 15 QPR2

The update has been released under build number BP11.241121.010 and is available for all Google Pixel devices from Pixel 6 and newer. The release fixes the following bugs:

  • Bluetooth and audio:
    • Fixed bug with incorrect behavior when switching between ASHA and LE Audio.
    • Solved a crash when resetting Bluetooth HAL when LE Audio hardware acceleration is disabled.
    • Fixed a bug with L2CAP connection occurring after device reboot due to incorrect security level saving.
    • Fixed an issue with no encryption when reconnecting to already paired devices, which could put data at risk.
  • Sensors and battery:
    • Solved a connection issue with some glucose sensors.
    • Fixed a bug that caused the “Limit charge to 80%” setting to not activate. The feature now fully works and enables cross charging mode on Pixel devices.
  • System stability:
    • Fixed bugs with Pixel Fold hangs when used in unfolded view.
    • Corrected crashes and unexpected device reboots due to null pointer errors.
  • Other fixes:
    • Fixed delay when selecting an option to make a call.
    • Resolved a bug with the ANGLE preferences parameter in the developer settings.

How to Install Android 15 QPR2 Beta 2

To install the update:

  1. Pair your Pixel device to the Android Beta Program.
  2. Go to Settings → System → Updates → Check for Updates.
  3. The download size is 300-500 MB depending on the device.
