Android 14: Beta 4 version is out

Another month has passed, which means it’s time for another Android 14 beta — in this case the fourth. This build adds additional improvements and bug fixes. This is the second «stable» release of the new version of the OS. This means that all developer APIs and all app behaviors are final and will not change by the time of the final release.
All APIs for developers and all app behaviors are final and will not change by the time of the final release.

By the way, Beta 4 appears to be the last one before the final release, which will affect all supported Pixel devices. As usual over the past few years, Google isn’t giving a specific timeline for the final release, but if we’re focusing on what we had last year, we certainly wouldn’t be surprised if it arrives in August. Google’s timeline also hints at that.
And that’s what Google’s timeline is hinting at.
The company hasn’t explicitly stated that the final release will be next, presumably so that if major issues with Android Beta 4 are discovered, they can be fixed quickly and Beta 4.1 or something similar can be released.
