Sber has added GigaChat artificial intelligence to its smart home

Interactions with Sber’s smart home system now reach a new level of comfort with the integration of GigaChat’s neural network model. The move endows the virtual assistant in the company’s devices with enhanced capabilities, including more natural communication and customized automation settings.

GigaChat is now able to perceive and interpret user queries phrased in free-form, making home management more intuitive. For example, the intelligent assistant will respond to the phrase “Hello, I’m hot!” by changing the settings of the air conditioner or thermostat.
The neural network has also gained the ability to process up to three instructions within a single request. You can now say, “Salud, start the vacuum cleaner and play background music,” or “Salud, turn off the lights, lower the blinds, and tell an interesting story,” and all instructions will be carried out.

Added a feature that automatically generates scripts for the smart home during a normal conversation. After the phrase “Salud, I’m awake”, the speaker will suggest, for example, to raise the blinds or turn on the lights. The user only needs to confirm the suggested actions, after which the AI will create a corresponding scenario in the app interface, activated by the phrase “Salut, I’m awake.”
