Summer is almost here, the days are longer, which means more time to spend outside doing outdoor activities and enjoying the warm sunshine. It also means that after a long day, sometimes you want to relax on the sofa under the air conditioning with a jar of ice cream. And there are some exciting new TV series coming out in June to keep you company.

We’ve picked five great TV series worth watching in June 2025. All but one of the series are brand new. The exception is the third and final season of one of the most-watched shows ever – The Squid Game.

Stick (June 4)

Owen Wilson plays the lead role in this sports comedy that sounds like a mix of “Ted Lasso” and “Happy Gilmore.” He plays the role of Price Cahill, a former professional golfer whose career ended decades ago, long before he himself would have been ready to quit the sport. When his life falls apart, Price rekindles his love of the sport and begins practicing with a young player named Santi (Peter Dugger), whom he believes he can turn into a star.

Whether this comedy will end up among the top shows on Apple TV+ remains to be seen, but the cast and the idea, albeit repeatedly, could be quite successful.

Iron Heart (June 24)

Following the events of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Dominic Thorne reprises her role as Riri Williams. Now a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Riri returns home and solves problems related to technology. In the 2022 film, Riri creates her own armor similar to Iron Man’s suit, proving she’s a genius.

Inspired by the Firebug podcast, Smoke stars as Dave Goodsen, a detective who, along with Detective Michelle Calderon (Jurnee Smollett), a talented arson investigator, tries to stop two serial arsonists from burning down the entire Pacific Northwest.
