Samsung: artificial intelligence in budget models

Samsung Samsung unveiled three models of the Galaxy A series – A26, A36 and A56, which get artificial intelligence features previously only available in flagships.

  • Galaxy A26 features a 6.7-inch OLED display (120Hz), Exynos 1380 processor and 50MP camera. The starting price is €299 (≈27,700 rubles)

  • Galaxy A36 runs on Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, supports 45-watt charging and has received an improved macro camera. The price is €379 (≈35,100 rub.)
  • Galaxy A56 based on Exynos 1580 got improved cooling system and a camera with 50MP sensor and 12MP ultrawide. Fast charging charges the 5000 mA*h battery in 1 hour 8 minutes. Price – €479 (≈44,400 rubles)

All three smartphones will get 6 years of Android updates and security patches. Among the AI features:

  • Circle to Search – search for information by objects on the screen,
  • AI Select – recommending actions based on context (e.g., creating a GIF from a video or navigating to a website),
  • Edit Suggestions – automatic photo correction,
  • Best Face (A56 only) – improve portraits by selecting the best facial expression.

Xiaomi: global version 15 Ultra with advanced cameras

The flagship Xiaomi 15 Ultra, unveiled earlier in China, got a global version. The main difference is battery capacity has been reduced from 6000 mAh to 5410 mAh, the rest of the specs remain the same:

Realme 14 Pro+ made its global debut with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 6000 mA*h battery and 80W charging. The camera system features 50MP main sensor with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide and 3x TV

The company also announced development of AI in smartphones and new content processing features:

  • AI Voice Retoucher – edit a photo with your voice (for example, you can say, “Make the sky at sunset”).
  • AI Video Eraser – remove objects from video.

But the main surprise was Realme Interchangeable Lens Concept -a smartphone with interchangeable lenses. The device supports a 73mm portrait lens and a 234mm telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom, bringing mobile photography closer to professional level.

Tecno: Camon 40

Tecno Spark Slim, unveiled at MWC 2025, has become the thinnest smartphone with a 5200 mA*h battery. When unfolded, its thickness is 5.75mm, and among the specs:

  • 45W fast charging**.

Honor: seven years of support and AI features

Honor Magic 7 Pro, already available in Russia, was in the spotlight at MWC 2025 thanks to new AI options. The company focused on turning the smartphone into a personal assistant that will schedule, give advice and analyze user habits
