Kodak has introduced a device in its Super 8 lineup. It’s a new camera that records video to film at 16, 24, 25, or 36 frames per second.

The camera combines analog recording with digital features, including a 4-inch LCD display and microSD card reader. A micro HDMI port lets you connect external monitors. Speaking of which, the Kodak Super 8 has a handle with a built-in button to start and stop recording, as well as a rugged Pelican case and a fast 6mm f/1.2 lens.

The camera is priced at $5,495, up from an initial estimate of $400-$750. Availability for the Russian market is not yet known.
