Xiaomi 14 will be released this month

The Xiaomi 14 series is scheduled to arrive this month, the company confirmed on Weibo. The post also says that the series will be a Leica brand collaboration, with the photography company providing a «best-in-breed» Summilux lens for the cell phones. The lineup will also feature a new image sensor, but it’s not yet known which phone it will be installed in or what its purpose will be.

The devices are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset that Qualcomm will unveil on Tuesday, October 24. Lei Jun traditionally speaks at the summit in Hawaii about the strong relationship between Xiaomi and Qualcomm, and more often than not, confirms the imminent arrival of the company’s next flagships.

We’re expecting at least two phones -14 and14 Pro. However, they’ll first come out in China with the new HyperOS, with a global release likely in the first weeks of 2024.
