Amazfit reissues BioCharge update for Bip 6 with several improvements
Amazfit has rolled out another firmware update for its Bip 6 smartwatch-the 3.10.0.1 version. This marks the company’s second attempt to bring the BioCharge energy level monitoring feature to Bip 6 owners. Alongside BioCharge, the update delivers a number of other device enhancements.
The previous update for the Amazfit Bip 6 landed in early January 2026 as version 3.8.0.1. At that time, Amazfit introduced the BioCharge function, but users reported that it either didn’t work properly or didn’t appear at all.
According to user reports on Reddit, the new 3.10.0.1 firmware successfully activates BioCharge for all Amazfit Bip 6 owners, fully replacing the older Readiness feature. The update weighs in at 9.05 MB. Interestingly, the changelog mirrors that of firmware 6.9.0.1 previously released for the Amazfit Active 2 model.

Post-update, Bip 6 users will notice revamped voice prompts during workouts, an enhanced weather app boasting higher-quality data sources, and an optimized sleep tracking algorithm. The brightness adjustment icon in the control center has also been tweaked for smoother use. Another handy tweak: after clearing all notifications, the watch will automatically revert to the watch face.
As usual, the Amazfit Bip 6 update is rolling out in stages, starting with users in the U.S., Canada, and China. There’s no word yet on when firmware 3.10.0.1 will be available globally.
