Samsung teases Galaxy S26 cameras – focus on low-light video and zoom

With just a few weeks left until the official Galaxy S26 unveiling, Samsung is gradually revealing key features of its upcoming flagship lineup. After introducing the Privacy Display feature aimed at protecting user data from prying eyes, the company has now shifted the spotlight onto the camera capabilities of the Galaxy S26 series.
In a series of short teaser videos, Samsung highlights the improved video shooting performance in low-light conditions and enhanced zoom functionality across the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra models. All three clips also showcase a refreshed camera module design, previously spotted in leaked renders of the new flagships.
According to the latest leaks, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will feature a 12MP autofocus front camera, a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultrawide module, and a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to pack a 12MP autofocus front camera, a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide module with autofocus, a 10MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and an additional 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom – both stabilized with OIS.
All three models are expected to support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second on every camera, plus 8K video at 30fps on the main sensor. The Ultra could also gain the ability to shoot 8K video at 30fps using the ultrawide and the 5x telephoto lenses.
Additionally, the Galaxy S26 series reportedly supports the Advanced Professional Video format. This format takes up less storage compared to competing standards while offering greater flexibility for post-processing, making it a worthy upgrade for advanced users and content creators alike.
