Asus unveils Zenbook Duo 14 (2026) with dual OLED screens and AI focus

Asus has revealed the Zenbook Duo 14 (2026) at its AI PC event in China. The standout feature? Two 14-inch touchscreen OLED displays, each packing a sharp 2.8K resolution, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness hitting 1,000 nits.

Both screens deliver 10-bit color depth, cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and support HDR with a staggering 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Asus also added an anti-glare AR coating and TÜV-certified blue-light protection — all geared toward reducing eye strain during long marathon sessions.

Under the hood, the Zenbook Duo 14 (2026) runs on Intel’s latest Core Ultra X9 388H processor, built on the Intel 18A process. This powerhouse chip features 16 cores and can turbo up to 5.1GHz. Graphics duties fall to the integrated Intel Arc B390 GPU, boasting 12 Xe cores, support for XeSS 3 upscaling, and hardware decoding for AV1 and H.266 codecs. Asus claims the machine delivers up to 180 TOPS of AI processing muscle.

Memory and storage specs include up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 9600MT/s and an optional PCIe 4.0 SSD of up to 2TB. The battery setup features a dual-cell design totaling 99Wh, delivering an impressive claimed 32 hours of local video playback when using just one screen. Cooling is revamped with support for sustained 45W performance, employing dual fans, heat pipes, and enlarged air intakes to keep temperatures in check.

Asus has reengineered the hinge to narrow the gap between the displays and introduced multiple usage modes: classic laptop, vertical mode, “waterfall” mode, and a fully flat 180-degree lay-flat position that’s ideal for collaboration. The chassis integrates a metal stand, while the package also includes a detachable magnetic Bluetooth keyboard with 1.7mm key travel and an oversized touchpad with multi-gesture support. Stylus input is supported as well.

As for connectivity, the Zenbook Duo 14 offers two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a single USB-A port, HDMI 2.1 FRL, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Wireless options include Wi-Fi 7, and the laptop comes equipped with a 1080p IR camera featuring facial recognition. Audio is handled by Dolby Atmos-tuned six-speaker system. On the AI front, Asus has baked in smart features like document summarization, offline image recognition, and local knowledge database search.

Pricing and availability details for the Zenbook Duo 14 (2026) have yet to be announced.
