Vivo S50 and S50 Pro mini release date announced

After a series of teasers, vivo has officially announced the launch date of the S50 series smartphones — the new products will be unveiled in China on December 15. At the same time, the company has opened pre-orders for the devices.
Published photos and short videos on Weibo show the design of the smartphones and confirm the color palette. According to vivo’s official online store, the standard S50 model will come in four variants: Confession White, Inspirational Purple, Space Black, and Serene Blue. The junior S50 Pro mini will be available in three colors: Confession White, Inspirational Purple, and Space Black.

vivo also revealed key specs. The S50 Pro mini will get the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, while the standard vivo S50 will be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Both models are expected to be equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto module.
