Nubia unveiled CyberBuds alien-inspired TWS gaming headphones

After the recent launch of the Nubia Fold & Flip 3 Go smartphones, the company has unveiled new CyberBuds gaming TWS headphones with «alien» design. The model is already available for pre-order at a starting price of 199 yuan ($28). Open sales will begin on December 9.

CyberBuds get an unusual two-piece mechanical design with a distinctly «alien» aesthetic. The charging case features RGB backlighting and a small built-in display. Both the earbuds and the case support customizable backlighting effects via the Nubia Life+ app. The earbuds weigh just 3.6g and the case — 58g. There’s also a lanyard attachment for easy portability.

Bluetooth 5.4 is used for connectivity. The headphones automatically wake up and connect to the device when you open the cover. Red Magic smartphone owners get a system pop-up with charge and connection status information.

The model supports FlashLink 2.0 low-latency technology. Nubia claims that the total signal delay can be as low as 50ms, which is especially useful in fast-paced games where precise response is important.

Some attention has been paid to audio customization. The app offers modes optimized for different types of games — first-person shooters, racing or universal game mode. There’s also a manual equalizer for users who prefer a customized sound.

Each headphone has a 35 mAh battery and the case — 500 mAh. A single charge of the headphones lasts for approximately six hours of playback, and total runtime with the case reaches 48 hours.
