OnePlus Ace and OnePlus 15R will get an 8300 mAh battery

OnePlus is preparing to unveil the OnePlus Ace 6T smartphone in China as early as next week. In the global market, this model is expected to be released under the name OnePlus 15R. Some specifications of the devices are already known about, and now the company has revealed details about the battery.

OnePlus confirmed on Weibo that the Ace 6T will be equipped with an 8,300 mAh battery. That’s 1,000 mAh more than the OnePlus 15, which already got a record-breaking 7,300 mAh battery. At the same time, the manufacturer does not sacrifice charging speed — the smartphone will support 100W wired charging.

This suggests that the global version of the OnePlus 15R will also get a large battery and fast charging. However, it’s not uncommon for companies to reduce battery capacity for international shipments due to logistical constraints. In addition, OnePlus doesn’t offer 100-watt charging in North America, limiting the speed to 80W.

While the OnePlus 15R will not offer 100-watt charging, the OnePlus 15R will be available in North America.
