EcoFlow has launched a low-cost Rapid Mag Qi2 powerbank with wireless charging support

EcoFlow has introduced the new Rapid Mag Qi2 Magnetic Power Bank 10,000 mAh external battery. The model supports wired and wireless charging, features a MagSafe-style magnetic mount and a built-in stand. It’s a more affordable version of the Rapid Mag series.

The model supports the Qi2 standard and provides wireless charging up to 15W. Unlike the older version with 25W Qi2.2 speeds, the slower mode is used here, but according to EcoFlow, the difference is minimal: it takes just eight minutes longer to charge the iPhone 16 to 50% of zero. On most of Samsung’s current smartphones, the 15W speed is the maximum, so owners of Galaxy flagships – including the S25 Ultra – don’t lose out on performance.

At the same time, it’s not as if Samsung’s current smartphones are using a slower speed.

With a wired connection, the Rapid Mag Qi2 can deliver up to 36W through the USB-C port. The device supports pass-through charging: the power bank and smartphone can be charged simultaneously from the same adapter. It weighs 220g and is 15.95mm thick, so the battery can stay on your smartphone without weighing it down.

The main feature is the built-in stand

The stand is a metal stand that folds up and locks in both vertical and horizontal positions. It lets you use your smartphone for video calling or watching content while it’s charging. Even without charging, the stand is still a useful piece of hardware.

In place of the OLED screen found on the older model in the series, the Rapid Mag Qi2 features four LED charge level indicators.

The power bank is available at launch on Amazon and the official EcoFlow store for $54.99 – that’s $35 below the standard retail price of $89.99. The new product is aimed at users who want a practical magnetic external battery without overpaying for extra features.
