Huawei unveiled a powerbank with built-in cable and 66W fast charging

Huawei has launched a new powerbank in China designed to solve one of the most common problems when charging devices — not having a cable to hand. The new All-in-One Power Bank (66W, 12,000mAh) features a built-in USB-C cable attached to the side of the case, as well as an additional USB-C port that allows you to charge a second device at the same time.

The main feature of the new product is its broad compatibility. The powerbank supports 66W two-way fast charging and works with Huawei SuperCharge, UFCS, as well as common PD, PPS and QC standards. According to the company, the Mate 70 smartphone can be charged from near zero to 84% in about half an hour, which is a good result for a compact device.

The built-in cable is reinforced and rated for 10,000 bending cycles. The battery capacity is 12,000 mAh. When connected to a 66W charger, the powerbank itself fully charges in about 110 minutes. It weighs 236 grams and is — 15.6 mm thick, making the model more comfortable to carry than many of its counterparts.

At the same time, the PowerBank is more portable than many of its counterparts.

For owners of HarmonyOS devices, there’s an additional feature: information about the powerbank’s remaining charge is displayed directly on the smartphone’s screen. Otherwise, it uses a standard LED indicator. It’s available in black and white.

The price is 329 yuan (about $46), making the new product an attractive proposition in the Chinese market. No word yet on a global release.
