Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 13 Pro+
By ForGeeks Today, Xiaomi announced the Redmi 13 series in China. The series consists of three representatives — the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro and the top-of-the-line Note 13 Pro+, which we’ll talk about in more detail.

In auto mode, it offers peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. There’s also an in-display optical fingerprint scanner and a 16MP front-facing camera.

Xiaomi uses a Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset paired with 16GB of LDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The company has also added a massive 4,000mm² graphite sheet and a VC heatsink.

The rear panel features Samsung’s ISOCELL HP3 — the same 200MP sensor (1/1.4-inch size and 0.56µm pixels) used in last year’s Redmi Note 12 Pro+. The 8MP ultra-wide-angle module and 2MP macro camera are also carried over here.

Software is provided by MIUI 14 based on Android 13, while the battery has a 5,000mAh capacity and supports 120W fast charging. Other notable additions include — stereo speakers and an infrared port.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ starts at $273. The price starts at $273 for the 12/256GB version and up to $314 for the 16/512GB model. The price will start at US$314 for the 16/512GB model. Open sales in China will begin on September 26.
