M.Video-Eldorado opened pre-order for iPhone 17 in Russia

Group «M.Video-Eldorado», one of Russia’s largest retailers in the electronics and home appliances segment, has announced the start of pre-orders for Apple’s new iPhone 17 line of smartphones. The cost of the devices in the network starts from 107,999 rubles. Buyers can sign up for a 24-month installment plan with no down payment or overpayments.

New models and design

The iPhone 17 lineup has gotten some notable changes in both looks and tech. Depending on the model, the display diagonal ranges from 6.3 inches for the base version to 6.9 inches for the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The body of the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max is made of aluminum, while the ultra-thin iPhone Air gets a titanium base.

Performance and new chips

The A19 chip in the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air models is responsible for performance, while the Pro versions feature the A19 Pro, which delivers even better performance and stability in demanding applications.

The new N1 chip supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for faster wireless connectivity and more accurate location.

Cameras and shooting capabilities

• iPhone 17 got a dual-camera system: a 48 MP main module and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle one.
• iPhone Air has a single 48 MP module with Fusion technology.
• iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max got a professional triple camera: 48MP main module, a telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle sensor. ProRes RAW recording and advanced video tools are supported

All models feature a 24 MP front camera with Center Stage technology that automatically keeps the user in the frame.

Displays and autonomy

All models feature a ProMotion display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, Always-On mode and record-breaking brightness of up to 3000 nits. Additional protection is provided by the new Ceramic Shield 2 coating.

Autonomy is also improved, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max getting up to 30 hours of video playback time.
