Google is preparing new Nest devices with Gemini support

Google is set to release new products under the Nest brand. At the Pixel 10 launch, the company unobtrusively showed off a Gemini-enabled Nest speaker, and leaks have revealed a new camera and a smart doorbell. Now, official images of these devices have surfaced online – straight from Google.
Links to the new products were found in the latest version of the Google Home app. Images of the Google Nest Cam Outdoor (codenamed linosa), Google Nest Cam Indoor (codenamed ustica), and Google Nest Doorbell (codenamed rhodes) have been found there as well.
The Google Nest Cam Outdoor (codenamed linosa), Google Nest Cam Indoor (codenamed ustica), and Google Nest Doorbell (codenamed rhodes) are all available online.

According to leaks, the second-generation Nest Cam Outdoor will be available in Snow and Hazel colors, while the third-generation Nest Cam Indoor will be available in Snow, Berry, and Hazel. Both cameras should get 2K resolution support and Gemini integration, as well as Zoom and Crop with digital zoom up to 6x.
The third-generation Nest Doorbell, for its part, will come in Snow, Hazel, and Linen colors. Expect the same upgrade to 2K, Zoom and Crop support, and integration with Gemini.
Nest Doorbell’s third-generation doorbell will be available in Snow, Hazel, and Linen colors.

In addition, Google plans to rename the paid Nest Aware subscription to Google Home Premium and add a new tariff, Google Home Premium Advanced.
The timing of the announcement hasn’t been disclosed yet, but it’s reasonable to assume that the company will unveil the devices before the holiday selling season so they can get into customers’ shopping carts.
