Musical markings appeared on the M12 “Vostok” highway in the Vladimir region

Music markings have been applied on the 144th kilometer of the M12 “Vostok” toll road in the Vladimir region. This was announced by Marat Khusnullin, deputy chairman of the Russian government, in his Telegram-channel on August 12.

Why music markings are needed

According to Khusnullin, a similar section first appeared in Russia last year on the M11 “Neva” highway. Now motorists traveling along the M12 towards Kazan from Moscow can also drive to the tune of “Kalinka-Malinka”.

Vice Prime Minister emphasized that the purpose of introducing such sections is not to entertain drivers, but to increase their concentration and prevent them from falling asleep at the wheel, which should help reduce the number of accidents.
