Halo Air compact air quality sensor for smartphone spotted on Kickstarter

An interesting gadget has been unveiled on the Kickstarter platform – Halo Air, a miniature air purity analyzer that easily attaches to your iPhone thanks to MagSafe technology. The gadget instantly assesses the air around you and transmits the data to a mobile app.

The current version allows you to monitor air parameters and their dynamics, as well as customize critical values. Halo Air is equipped with multiple sensors that measure carbon dioxide (CO₂), microparticles (PM 1.0/2.5/10), total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), as well as temperature and humidity.

If the measured readings are out of the norm, the user is immediately notified on their phone with a recommendation to ventilate the room or go out for fresh air. The connection to the smartphone is via Bluetooth wireless technology.

The Halo Air is available for pre-order on Kickstarter with prices starting at $225 (17 900 rubles). Deliveries are scheduled to begin in December 2025.
