Realme unveiled 11x 5G with 64MP main camera

Realme held an event today where it unveiled the 11 5G and Buds Air 5 duo. The event also saw the official unveiling of the 11x 5G — an affordable smartphone with a 64 MP main camera and 33W charging.

Realme 11x 5G is built around a 6.72-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and brightness up to 650 nits. The refresh rate reaches up to 120Hz. Like the vanilla 11 5G, the x version is powered by a Dimensity 6100+ chipset with an eight-core processor. The phone has 8GB of RAM and — 128GB of storage. There’s no micro SD card slot.

The 64 MP main camera has a 1/2-inch sensor and an F/1.8 aperture. At the back, it’s joined by a 2MP depth sensor of dubious utility.
Added to the camera is a 2MP depth sensor.

The 11x 5G features a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC charging, though that rate is actually more in line with the regular VOOC 4.0 standard introduced by Oppo a few years ago.
The device is just 7.89mm thick, with the round camera island protruding a bit more. The back panel comes in two color options — Purple Dawn and Midnight Black.

Other features of the device include — Android 13 operating system with Realme’s proprietary UI 4.0 and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Realme 11x 5G is priced at $180 for the 6/128GB variant and $195 for the 8/128GB variant. First sales are scheduled for August 30. There’s no information about a global launch —
