Atari announced the Atari 2600+, which plays original cartridges

Atari and Plaion have announced the Atari 2600+ — a new version of the original Atari 2600 / VCS console with original cartridges. The Atari 2600+ will go on sale Nov. 17 at a price of $129.99 and will be built using state-of-the-art technology to authentically reproduce the original Atari 2600 4-switch video game system.
