The Realme GT5 will make its debut on August 28, and today on Weibo, the brand revealed new details about the upcoming flagship. We already knew it would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. But today we got confirmation that it will be the base 3.2GHz version of Qualcomm’s platform, rather than the overclocked version used by Samsung and ZTE.

The Realme GT5 chipset isn’t a big surprise, but the ability to adjust CPU clock speed — a real rarity, offering such detailed control for the first time.
